During the exhibition ALTENPFLEGE 2013, ten experts from various areas of the nursing sector went on a “Journey into the Future of Care – 2053”. In a three-day Journey into the Future, new orientations for care were worked out based on experience from the past, an analysis of today’s situation and determinants for

future evolution.

And now, on March 26 at ALTENPFLEGE 2014, decision makers from the nursing sector will discuss the results. The detected significant influence factors on society, economy, politics and law, medicine, infrastructure and technology will be explained and summarized into two "scenarios for 2053".

Which are these developments and what do they mean for the present? Which action impulses can and must be applied today in order to be well positioned for the future?
Together with the speakers, options for action for present and impulses for shaping of the future will be developed for these issues.
